How to reach us, and answers to the questions we hear most.
Help guides
Step-by-step help guides cover the most common tasks:
- Get started on Mac or iPhone and iPad
- Add another device
- Ad Block and rules
- Your subscription
- Delete a server
Contact us
Email support@warrenet.com. We read every message and usually reply within a few days.
To help us help you, please include:
- your device and system version, for example “iPhone 15, iOS 18.1” or “MacBook Air, macOS 15.1”
- your cloud provider and the region of your server
- what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead
- a diagnostics report, if the problem involves connecting or a server (see below)
Please never email passwords, cloud provider tokens, or your server’s connection details. Warrenet support will never ask for them.
Send a diagnostics report
Warrenet keeps a short, local history of what the app and the VPN did, so you can share it when something goes wrong. Nothing is uploaded automatically.
- Open Settings in Warrenet (a tab on iPhone, in the sidebar on Mac).
- Under Support, choose Export Diagnostics and save the report.
- For a problem with a server, open Cloud, choose Manage Server for that server, then Export Diagnostics. This adds the server’s own report.
- Attach the saved file to your email.
Warrenet removes known credentials from the report, but it can still contain server addresses, network details, and recent entries from your server’s logs. Look it over before you share it.
If the VPN won’t connect
- Check that your device is online with the VPN turned off.
- Open Cloud and check your server’s status. Choose Refresh if it looks out of date.
- Try connecting again.
- Still stuck? Export a diagnostics report and email us.
On a Mac, closing the Warrenet window keeps the app running in the menu bar. Quitting Warrenet disconnects the VPN.
Subscription and billing
- Billing is handled by Apple. Your Warrenet subscription is sold through the App Store. To change plans or cancel, choose Manage Subscription in the app, or open your Apple Account’s subscription settings.
- New device? One subscription covers iPhone and Mac. Sign in with the same Apple Account and choose Restore Purchases if the app doesn’t find it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your server and your cloud bill
Your cloud provider bills you directly for your server. Warrenet never sees or changes that bill.
- To stop a server’s charges, delete the server. At most providers a stopped server is still billed. Delete it in Cloud or in your provider’s dashboard.
- Cancelling Warrenet doesn’t delete your servers. They keep running, and keep billing, until you delete them.
- Servers are billed for the time they exist, by the second or by the hour depending on the provider, up to the plan’s monthly price. A server you delete stops adding charges.
- For questions about a cloud bill, contact your provider: DigitalOcean support, Akamai support, or Vultr support.
